Jubilee Church began in 1995 when John and Linda Lanferman moved to St. Louis to lead a small group of people who were gathering in the city. Over the course of a two-year period, new people were added in and a consistent meeting place was secured in Webster Groves.

In October of 2006, a building was purchased near the corner of Kingshighway Boulevard and Chippewa Street in the city. Renovation on the building was completed in April of 2007, at which time the church began holding Sunday morning meetings there.  

In August of 2008, Jubilee launched a second location in Wentzville. Rick Hein is the location pastor for Jubilee in Wentzville.

In September of 2009, Jubilee in St. Louis City added a second service. Bryan Mowrey is the location pastor for Jubilee in St. Louis City.

It is the vision of Jubilee to start many more locations throughout the St. Louis area.
